Adding Kalator to Your Site

The following are the currently supported ad formats served from Kalator. To add the ads to your web site, copy the javascript code from the text area and paste it anywhere on your page.

Adding Your Project to Kalator

If you want to add your Open Source project to the ad rotation:

• Insert one or more of the Kalator HTML ad snippets somewhere (your project page, your company website, your blog perhaps)
• Create one or more jpg, gif, or png ads using the dimensions listed above. The maximum file size is 24K.
• Email the ad(s) and the project, name, link, and description to ads@kalator.com

But I already use Google™ Ad Sense...

Even if you are using Google™ Ad Sense, you can use the Proxy Link to link to us. Use the Proxy Link in your public service ads setting in Google™ Ad Sense. This will show the Open Source ads when Google doesn't have any ad content for your site. This will happen infrequently, but you'll still be helping the Open Source community advertise and it wont impact your revenue.

Use the Proxy Link URL above that matches your ad size, and paste it into the ad sense setting shown in the following image:

Or just add the variable google_alternate_ad_url to your Ad Sense javascript snippet. For example:

Be sure to use the correct Proxy Link for your ad size
